MELBOURNE : Recruitment firm Aquent is on the expansion trail, today announcing its acquisition of Melbourne-based recruiter Dux Creative Solutions.

“The acquisition of Dux Creative Consultants is a logical step in Aquent’s strategic expansion in Australia ," Aquent Asia Pacific CEO Greg Savage said.

Dux managing director Vicki McKay said she and her team will join Aquent in Melbourne and continue to foster existing relationships with talent and clients.

“After 16 years in business and with a broad network of long-standing creative relationship, we saw Aquent’s acquisition … as the perfect next step for our company,” McKay said.

The acquisition will enable Aquent to provide clients will access to a larger talent pool.
