     AQUENT BOOSTS STAFF TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH IN AUSTRALIA

Four new Consultants hired across Sydney and Melbourne

Sydney, Australia (June 22, 2004)—Four new staff members have been added to Aquent’s offices in Sydney and Melbourne to accommodate growth of their Australian offices, according to Greg Savage, Aquent’s Chief Executive for Asia- Pacific. The staff additions include Dean Giampaolo in Melbourne and Sondra Beram, Claire James and Daphne van der Kieft in Sydney who will serve as Recruitment Consultants to service clients and Talent within the Marketing, Communications and Creative industries.

“I’m delighted to say that our business and profile is growing and we’ve hired a number of new staff in the last couple of months to cater for this,” said Greg Savage, Aquent CEO for Asia Pacific. “Our new Consultants will work closely together to further develop the business engendering Talent care and a consultative approach to their recruitment strategy in order to promote the Aquent philosophy that there is more to recruitment than just placing Talent. Making a perfect match is what ultimately counts.

Dean Giampaolo joined our Melbourne office as an experienced recruitment and research professional, specialising in business development and end-to-end permanent recruitment.
Dean has worked across all major recruitment areas, at all levels and in different roles: From Recruitment Consultant and Researcher to Marketing Assistant and Project Co-ordinator. Originally trained as an Editor and Copywriter, Dean’s early working history includes editing, copywriting, sales, telemarketing, market research, and administrative roles.

Sondra Beram has joined Aquent in Sydney as a Permanent Consultant after 5 years experience in the recruitment industry—first specialising in office support and sales and then recruitment-to-recruitment. She started in the recruitment industry in a New Business Development capacity for
a privately owned New Zealand recruitment company, Lampen Personnel and after some time moved into a permanent consulting position. She later worked with organisations such as Quest who specialise in IT Sales, PKL Personnel who specialise in Office Support and most recently with Scott Recruitment, specialists in the recruitment-to-recruitment industry.

Daphne van der Kieft joins the Sydney office from Aquent's Los Angeles office and specialises in Temporary placements. In Los Angeles , she managed and provided Talent for high profile clients such as: Amgen, Mattel and M&C Saatchi. Prior to this, Daphne served as an Account Manager in the creative division of Robert Half International in Los Angeles where she was responsible for day-to-day Talent management and client services. Originally reigning from Connecticut , Daphne studied Advertising at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and French Literature at the Universitie Paul Valery in Montpellier, France.

Claire James recently joined Aquent as a Permanent Consultant specialising in Office Support. She has over five years commercial recruitment experience both in Sydney and in the UK . She brings to Aquent an experienced understanding of Office Support recruitment and the ability to offer a recruitment solution and ongoing customer care to a wide range of corporate clients. Claire has previously specialised in recruiting Office Support Talent from Office Juniors up to Executive Assistants and Office Managers.
