AQUENT DIRECTOR GUESTS ON AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION INTERNET RADIO SHOW, MARCH 22, 2006

Program Will Focus on Using Technology to Manage Marketing Projects

BOSTON (March 20, 2006) — Patrick Campbell, Aquent’s director of client technologies and the co-founder of Aquent’s industry-leading RoboHead project management software tool, will be the sole guest on the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Internet radio program “Marketing Matters LIVE!” at 11:00 a.m. CT, Wednesday, March 22, 2006. During the hour-long broadcast, Campbell and AMA radio hosts Tim Reisterer and David Kinard will discuss how to automate the project management process and why it is imperative to do so in today’s fragmented marketing climate. A recording of the program will be archived on the AMA Web site, www.marketingpower.com, for one year following the live broadcast.

Increased segmentation and localization, as well as the explosion of complex delivery channels, have significantly increased the demand on today’s marketing teams. Yet, most companies continue to rely on yesterday’s tools to manage this phenomenon. “Right this minute, billions of dollars’ worth of marketing and creative services projects are hanging by a sticky note,” says Campbell . “Job jackets, Post-Its, scattershot e-mails…such are the archaic tools of the project management trade. In fact, our research shows that most marketing and creative services departments have yet to automate this highly vital function.”

With the advent of sophisticated new Internet tools to help manage these processes, organizations can now manage their projects, schedules, resources, and deliverables — online and on time. During his discussion, Campbell will explain how such automation can help organizations operate more seamlessly, efficiently, and profitably than ever before. Additionally, listeners will discover how quickly and easily these automated systems can be designed and implemented for the special demands of any marketing and creative services team.

Patrick Campbell is director of client technology and a founding member of Aquent's RoboHead team.  During his initial tenure with the company, Patrick served as a client consultant to provide professional services around requirements gathering, implementation, and training of project management solutions. Prior to joining Aquent, he was involved in catalog direct marketing, headed up marketing communication organizations, and managed international business-to-business marketing.
