     AQUENT LAUNCHES FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND WEB TOOL

MyAquent Designed as On-Line Office for Aquent “Talent”

BOSTON (March 8, 2001) — Aquent, the world’s largest talent agency for creative, Web, and tech professionals, has launched MyAquent (http://my.aquent.com), a Web site designed to make it easier for the company’s “talent” base of independent professionals (IPs) to do business with the company. More than 5,000 of Aquent’s talent base nationwide have already signed up for the free service.

“We are in the business of helping independent professionals build their careers,” says Chris Moody, Aquent’s Chief Information Officer. “MyAquent provides our talent with their own ‘virtual Aquent office’ giving them access to important information they need to manage their careers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“One of the most advanced features of MyAquent is Aquent Portfolios, where talent can post their portfolio pieces, resumes, skills, professional sites (URLs) and other pertinent information on-line. Our agents can then electronically showcase Aquent Portfolios to our clients, giving clients a convenient way to review talent information. Aquent Portfolios are also searchable on our Web site using our patent-pending search engine,” he added.

With MyAquent, talent can also do the following on-line:

  • Timecard Entry - Enter their timecards online making the administrative process of getting paid easier.
  • Update Availability and Contact Information - Review and update availability and contact information each time they enter MyAquent to ensure they are readily accessible.
  • Check Work Schedule - Review current job assignments and quickly access information such as client name, phone number, address, driving directions and pay rate.
  • Track Benefits - Track accrued hours for benefits and vacation pay, given to qualified Aquent talent, and directly access benefit providers’ sites.
  • Give Feedback - A forum in which to give feedback on client and Aquent services.
  • Keep Correspondence History - Ability to review past emails they have received from their Agent, Aquent staff who helps them manage and advance their careers.
  • Keep in Regular Contact - Ability to easily send and receive email directly to and from their Agents.
  • Receive Valuable Information - Receive messages though an automated “What’s New at Aquent” section.
  • Access to Tax Forms - Ability to download federal and state tax forms.

Additional features are planned for MyAquent, as technology allows and based on user feedback.

Aquent (www.aquent.com) is the world’s largest talent agency for Web and creative professionals.
