Job Description:

Production Manager to join our publisher marketing team to: 1. Manage the delivery of marketing for the DNI (Digital news Initiative) campaign 2. Manage internal and external senior stakeholders 3. Assist on related tasks (such as events support) for the Publisher marketing team The senior producer is responsible for day-to-day management of interactive and production-focused campaigns that are part of the Brand Studio, which serves creative requests from the marketing and product teams. This role works extensively with third party vendors including developers, designers, video producers and other relevant vendors. Producers are the facilitators of collaboration throughout the project lifecycle: from brief to planning & strategy, concepting to design & build, final delivery to post production. Producers are skilful at bringing diverse people & disciplines together to produce innovative creative solutions. Key responsibilities include authoring production briefing documentation, briefing the vendors and external agencies, scheduling, managing creative reviews, budgeting, striving to deliver projects to the highest standard possible. The role requires effective communication and management both internally and externally with suppliers, contractors and clients. Responsibilities: Manage outside producers and production companies and resources, both procedurally and financially Define tactical requirements and scope for projects, and help to reinforce production best practices from creative briefing to launch. Build out and manage internal production resources as necessary Own the master production budget and specific budgets and schedules for multiple concurrent projects Requirements: 6-8 years of world-class creative production experience, with a blend of experience across platforms: broadcast, digital, new media, etc. (Dependant on producer level required) Proven experience on major productions for major creative brands Outstanding organization abilities Global experience and perspective Fearlessness. Particularly in the midst of chaos Passionate interest in being part of the future Experience with in-house creative and production methodologies. Experience working with new and innovative technologies. Global experience and ability to work in fast-paced, start-up environment. Knowledge of the news industry beneficial
