For this Senior design role, strong editorial and publishing experience will be required, whether its magazines, newspapers etc. (Brochures won't be right for this particular role.)
Strong creative typography and layout skills, including pushing imagery in a creative way.
The ideal candidate must have an understanding of functional design - solutions to a brief must tell a story.
Some basic digital (you'll be able to up skill on the role too) - emailers, web banners, long forms,
You will be working with templates, however there will be opportunities where you can push creative push boundaries with limitations.
There will be a new Creative Director joining this team in a month or so, which is an exciting time for the team, because this means each designer will be able to have more ownership over their own projects and take responsibility to develop their skillset further, so it will be a great learning curve.

Proactive attitude, with the ability to take feedback/critique well from various members of the wider team. Someone who can handle pressure, with excelling problem solving skills. Someone who can work collaboratively. Each designer will have ownership over your project, however for larger projects, each designer will share parts of the project out, and will have ownership over their part.
Fast paced environment where you will be juggling a few projects at one time. This could include amends by end of day deadlines, as well as longer projects that could last for a day, couple of weeks of months. Candidates will be required to stay a little later to meet deadlines.
