Our client are part of a global creative network and provide one of the most established digital offerings within the industry, famous for producing notably effective and creative work which has seen them pick up a number of awards. Our client are the Digitally focussed arm of this agency network and boast a lengthy list of clients both big and small, with offices in over 5 locations around the world.

 

Role Description

 

Our client are looking for a UX Director to join the digital division in their London office, heading up the team of professionals that work across UX, UI Design, Development and Technology. Day to day responsibilities will vary throughout, from UX strategy and interaction design solutions across multiple touchpoints including web and out of home. You will be responsible for managing account relationships, regularly liaising with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and updating on progress. Your team will look to you for leadership and guidance, leading by example in both professionalism and design, creating stunning work built on sound reasoning and research. You will have an excellent knowledge of user-centred design solutions, and the ability to lead the design of large systems and interactions.

 

Your role will be working alongside the Creative Director, supporting with concepts and UX strategy, constantly looking to develop and progress the UX offering in ways that are relevant too the business and the client needs.

 

Skills & Experience

 

Our client are looking for a top UX Director with proven management and leadership qualities within a similar UX team. Someone who is comfortable working with a lager team and mentoring more junior members to show them the ins and outs of IA, Interface and Service Design. The ideal candidate will have an excellent portfolio to demonstrate previous UX work across different digital touchpoints.

 

Other skills include:

  • Proficient in Adobe CS
  • Proficient is UX prototyping tools (Sketch/Invision/Axure etc.)
  • Recent experience leading UX teams
  • Highly collaborative approach
  • Excellent knowledge of UX process and implementation
  • Hands on prototyping and design skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and pride and passion in your work
