Job Description:

We are looking for a Quantitative Marketing Analyst with extensive experience in analysing big datasets to identify business opportunities for our client to grow their Search and Assistant users across the EMEA region

The ideal Analyst should be able to…

  • Own analytics of Search and Assistant marketing campaigns for the EMEA region
  • Utilise analytical and statistical methods to measure the impact and efficiency of our marketing campaigns
  • Analyze big datasets to identify business opportunities, and help share best practices and key success factors for campaign across the region with local and global stakeholders
  • Help build tools and dashboards to serve the analytical needs of PMMs across the EMEA region

Top Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Measure impact of EMEA Search and Assistant marketing campaigns, and extract insights and key learnings
  • Help establish campaign benchmarks and targets with country PMMs
  • Analyze big datasets to identify business opportunities for us to grow Search and Assistant users across the EMEA region
  • Work with multiple functions and product areas (Android, Hardware, Finance) to define common measurement practices

Mandatory Skill/Experience/Education:

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, data science, economics, computer science, mathematics, engineering discipline) with 2 years of relevant work experience in using data analysis to drive business decisions
  • Fluency in R, SQL and Python is a must
  • Understanding of other big data tools and technologies (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and distill data into actionable insights and create communications / presentation materials targeted at global and local stakeholders
  • Ability to dig in and understand the details of a problem while at the same time understanding the strategic view for the business

Nice to Have Skills:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis, and business application
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Experience with executing marketing campaigns
