My client is a fantastic, innovative digital production agency renowned for working on amazing global campaigns which really captivate and catch the eye of clients & consumers. Going through an extremely strong period of growth, they are now looking for an ambitious Account Director to join their team.
Reporting into the Client Services Director, you will be responsible for a selection of key accounts, delivering first-class client leadership, as well as managing and mentoring several Account Managers to deliver effective, exciting campaigns however the key client is an international automotive client.
On a day to day basis, responsibilities include:
- Significant liaison both internally and externally (with clients, agency partners and technology platforms)
- End to end campaign management, acting as the buffer and driver for account success
- Pitching new business ideas to senior management about how to manage and push for new accounts
- Mentoring and inspiring Account Managers with strong leadership qualities
Ideally, you should have strong digital experience, understand the processes required to plan, implement and deliver successful digital media campaigns as well as understand the importance of how to position a brand and what makes them tick.
All in all, it is important that you are a strong and outgoing personality; this client is looking for an accomplished hardworking individual but a team player with an energetic, collaborative outlook!
- Detailed knowledge of the digital media landscape – ideally digital display, video, social
- The gravitas leadership skills to lead (multiple) client relationships, and be an effective point of escalation
- Strategic thinking to understand a client’s business, their marketing challenges and how to effectively deliver against their KPIs
- The ability to lead a team and manage external creative agency relationships
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
