An exciting opportunity has arisen within a European travel hub, they are fast-moving, diverse, forward-thinking – right at the heart of the nation’s global connections. My client is looking for a Commercial Partnerships Executive.
The purpose of the role:
The Commercial Marketing Executive will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to work in partnership with some of the biggest brands in aviation. You will work on a joint marketing programme, focussed primarily on growing passenger volumes. In this role, you will implement a strategy to target volume growth opportunities, plan, create and deliver co-marketing campaigns and work with a breadth of key stakeholders both internally and externally. Another aspect of the role is to grow value by identifying and promoting key products and services pre-travel to relevant audiences. You will have the opportunity to grow value by developing new business partnerships with Destination Marketing Organisations, online Travel Agents (OTAs) and other 3rd parties.
Marketing & Partnerships:
Co-ordinating internal channels to amplify Joint Marketing activity
Meet and build working relationships with marketing teams as the key day-to-day point of contact, particularly those identified as peers with responsibility for delivering channel support and activations
Be the key day-to-day contact with partner agencies to ensure alignment on delivering objectives e.g. media buying agencies and creative agencies
Work with the Business Development team to help build business cases
Be the key point of contact on any in-terminal or outdoor experiential activity in conjunction with airlines and other partners Campaign Management
Perform copywriting, writing creative briefs, finding suitable imagery, brand guardianship e.g. logos and tone of voice
Assess media proposals to support joint marketing activity whether online or offline to ensure efficiency of budget spend and make recommendations where necessary
Ongoing management and development of internal documents where we can track all joint marketing activity e.g. Activity Plan, ROI calculators
Reporting & Analysis:
Building and maintaining reports to deliver strong pre-and-post campaign analysis of joint marketing activity e.g. executive summaries outlining the opportunity, review decks visually demonstrating the activity, maintain tracking reports demonstrating core metrics such as audience engagements, clicks, and conversions.
New Business Development:
Working cross-functionally in commercial to assess and deliver value add promotions to increase overall awareness and revenue e.g increased retail spend and uptake of other passenger services.
Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party partners enabling to grow to reach and upsell of products & services through the implementation of targeted activity

Qualifications and Experience
Higher education qualification in marketing or a marketing related subject – highly desirable
Experience of working in the aviation or travel/leisure sectors – highly desirable
Experience working with direct marketing, CRM, social media, web, loyalty or other
