Technical Documentation Specialist
Duties: As the Documentation Specialist in Legal Support Services, you will be responsible for the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content, for both internal and external (still within Facebook) communities. You will obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, structured documentation. This means sometimes you are documenting something yourself, sometimes you are editing contributed content from someone else, and other times you are fixing and reorganizing existing documentation. In addition, you may also have opportunities to do some project management for various documentation requests. This role will be based in London.
Create and maintain internal documentation for products user instructions and team presentations.
Design, write and edit technical and process documentation.
Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content you create and develop.
Navigate through multiple platforms such as (non-exhaustive) G-Suite, Confluence, Facebook internal knowledge base platform.
Create the communication plan and drive its implementation.
BA/BS degree in documentation writing or equvialent experience.
Experience taking complex information and simplifying it for more general audiences.
Experience producing and organizing content with a logical flow.
Experience adjusting to changes in priorities or scope of projects.
Experience managing and delivering multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with communications across functional boundaries and/or globally.
Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
