We are seeking a Technical Project Manager for an exciting project involving working directly with partners to create highly visible and successful use cases on top of our platform and connectivity products. 

The ideal Specialist will have an excellent grasp of mobile network infrastructure, internet networking as well as OSS/BSS experience

Duties:

  • The Technical Project Team has the responsibility for scoping the effort from inception to product, communicating it to others, creating the partnerships necessary to achieve targeted results, and hitting key milestones
  • They played an instrumental role in the launch and scaling of many initiatives here at Facebook, including for example Free Basics, Express Wi-Fi and other connectivity initiatives
  • You will closely work with one of our Technical Project Leads to scope out, plan, and drive the deliverables for the project, coordinating both internal and external teams that will execute on the project tasks and deliverables
  • Agile is very close to the way they work
  • 50% travel Israel and Latin America

Your profile:

  • Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent grasp of mobile network infrastructure and internet networking
  • BSS and OSS is a MUST
  • Business level Spanish
  • Manage connectivity projects globally in a matrix organization
  • Drive and complete projects including planning, project management, implementation and day-to-day communication with Facebook technology partners, mobile operators and open-source contributors, and internally within Facebook
  • Ensure that Facebook project and support processes is followed through-out the partner life-cycle
  • Communicate partner needs to the Facebook product teams to improve people's experiences with our products.

  • Worked for companies - Solutions for service providers
  • Must be able to walk with partners- learning from them
  • Product- Finding relevant gaps in BSS and OSS
  • Previous exposure in delivering Product OSS-based systems and BSS-Tools or suites
  • OSS VSS solution
  • Managing and Deployment of product
  • ISP
  • How to get them to use the full speed of what the product offers.
  • Communicating in Spanish is huge
