Job Description:

Role: Business Marketing Research Insights Specialist

Pay: £69-76k pa pro rata plus perks,

Length: 6 + months, TBC

We are hiring for this temporary PAYE role for our Client-leading global social media network organisation.

(We will only be able to respond to successful candidates)

 

Duties
Apply your expertise in research design, analysis and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights on people’s behaviour and purchasing across industries and regions.

Define insightful hypotheses and lead research with quick turnaround times focused on global ecommerce and sales trends around the world using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys.

Collaborate with data analysis functions within our team to integrate the platform’s large internal and market research data sets to validate research hypotheses.

Build meaningful cross-functional relationships with our partners (marketing, sales and product marketing) to help activate our research to internal and external audiences.

Have a keen eye for detail and act as an expert for market research related questions to our partners.

Compelling communication: Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.

Skills:
BA in human behaviour related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.)

solid experience in applied market research

Understanding of the global retail and ecommerce industry and emerging trends/tactics around global Mega Sales events such as Singles Day 11/11 are highly desired

Command of a broad set of market research methods and track record of using data to make arguments.

Track record of translating research into actionable insights for the marketing and advertising industry.

Strong process, project and vendor management skills with successful experience partnering with cross-functional teams.

Experience in hands-on data analysis in industry data tools, SPSS, R or other similar statistical packages.

Ability to communicate complex analysis and results to any audience.

Education
BA in human behaviour related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.) with emphasis on analysing, displaying, or reporting data (e.g. economics, statistics, psychology), or equivalent work experience.
