Job Description:
The Content Team UK are responsible for commissioning, acquiring and planning
content across our various content & channel brands. This team creates and manages the content story ensuring a continuous and ever-evolving offering for Customers, that meets all business KPIs.
Some Particulars
-Temp Role based in West London when Tier 4 is lifted.
-Must have data entry skills in a Broadcast Environment
Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
To create, deliver and manage compelling weekly and monthly content plans including
linear channel schedules and programme inventories that are aligned with the needs of key
stakeholders and meet KPIs whilst within budget. To communicate those plans
and any changes to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for Scheduling Content and maintaining inventories
Cinema, including up-to-date license period information including runs and
exhibitions and on-demand availability where applicable.
Ensure we are fully exploiting content rights where possible – linear and on-demand
Execute and communicate any changes to channel plans – resulting from duration
changes, up-to-date compliance changes or rights adjustments.
Monthly scheduling of all channels, taking into account editorial, compliance and
license information.
Accurate input of monthly channel schedule into BSS.
Prepare plans ahead of forecasting process
Track PAD and channel performance via Techedge and weekly reports
Identification of daily / weekly / monthly tactical opportunities for linear and other
platforms – including the pop-up road-map
Maintain and issue standby lists where relevant.
Key EPG point person, ensuring accuracy of titles and meeting contractual
guidelines.
Key Compliance point person, ensuring versions available for appropriate day parts.
Role may require planning and editorial feedback for on-demand.
Liaison / Communication
Ensure clear and timely communication of scheduling plans with key departments
across, e.g. Content Operations, Promo Strategy, EPG, IDS etc.
Regular communication with the Rights Management team to ensure all deals are
entered in to BSS and provide series stacking TX information.
Content Selection & Editorial
Create ideas for stunts and events. Work alongside merchandising to ensure cross
platform execution.
Screen potential titles and liaise with acquisitions and the wider planning team on
suitability for service.
Ongoing schedule management
Manage channel schedules within planning and scheduling systems, Ensure all
necessary information is up-to-date and accurate in accordance with key deadlines
(BDS, listings deadlines, TX etc.)
Ensure all necessary schedule changes and amendments are correctly
communicated.
