This role will currently be worked remotely with onsite working in Central London in the foreseeable future, therefore you must be based in the UK.
You will have paid holidays and if applicable, be entitled to an annual bonus.
This is a 12 month contract with the possibility to extend beyond this depending on future projects.
You will be working closely with your Interaction Design Lead to help develop the next part of an Android-based Digital Wellbeing experience, which will be launched across phones and other digital products, ensuring a unified experience across all platforms.
The Lead Designer will be focusing primarily on Strategy, while the Visual Product Designer will be focusing on Visual Design, creating a very robust and high-quality design system that's compliant with Android material, third parties, and adapt well with other products.
Must have experience
- You will have worked heavily on at least one shipped Product
- You will have owned a visual system of at least one project, which must be shown in your portfolio as a case study.
Communication and collaboration is key! This role will be highly collaborative, therefore it's important that you're comfortable working well with other designers and cross-functional partners with proven experience of this.
You will be confident enough to advocate for visual decisions, showcase accessible solutions, seek feedback from teams to ensure feasibility, and develop ideas to a really high standard. The wider team consists of around 30 people, Including Product Managers, Engineers, Design Leads etc.
The chosen candidate will have at least 5 years working in a product start-up environment or for a big product-focused company on Mobile apps/devices.
Android experience is highly preferred, however, if you've worked on iOS in a close-knit product team with engineers on shipped products then this is also prefered.
You will also have strong prototyping skills using Figma and other tools.
