Job Description:

This role will be worked remotely with onsite working in Central London once covid-19 restrictions have lifted.

PAYE only up to £392.41 p/day | up to £102,026 pro-rata + paid holiday

The role

Our client is looking for a Digital Content Specialist / UX Writer with Financial experience to join their team for a 4-month contract, with the hope to extend.

The chosen candidate must be able to demonstrate a good balance of both strong copywriting skills and UX experience. 

Team

You will be reporting in to the Creative Manager for the XD team who run their own strategic initiatives, and are responsible for the full end-to-end journey.

The team also consists of a content designer and two visual designers. You’ll also be working closely with the marketing team on key briefs against business outcomes.

The team's focus is on crafting and creating copy for campaigns across digital touchpoints, including advertising, creative, blog posts, and print collateral, etc.

About you

The chosen candidate will 7-10 years of experience crafting digital copy for different situations and audiences, working within brand guidelines. You will be working closely with the visual designers to help create web page mock-ups

This role requires excellent communication skills as you’ll be liaising with stakeholders, managing their expectations, and also carrying out conversations with customers to meet their needs.

You will have excellent time management skills as you’ll be working to deadlines, ensuring prompt delivery.

Must-haves skills:

  • Copywriting: working within brand guidelines
  • End-to-end experience working on customer briefs
  • Understanding the audience: able to differentiate different copy for different audiences
  • Ability to differentiate copy depending on where the user is at within the journey
  • Creative advertising copy skills
  • Web/Digital copywriting skills
  • UX writing experience 

Preferred skills:

  • Strategic mindset
  • Working with benefits and messaging hierarchies
  • Defining guidelines and then writing copy
  • Conceptual experience

*Portfolio of some sort is key, to showcase the campaigns and web/digital assets that you’ve worked on.
