Maternity leave coverage role – Public Service Industry Marketing Manager

This contract role is a maternity leave coverage from 1 June 2021 until at least 31 July 2022. It is a global industry marketing manager role within the Public Services team.
This team is responsible driving awareness, consideration and preference within the public service industry audience in lockstep with business strategy and growth priorities.

- Work with business stakeholders, Marketing and Communiaction leadership & peers, campaign & channel management peers and local industry marketers to lead and activate industry marketing campaigns.
- Ideation, development and publishing of industry thought leadership and capabilities content, incl. POVs, videos, blogs and other content formats according to business agenda and priorities.
- Ensure collaboration with industries, services and market units to create (and re-purpose) differentiated, provocative content for the industry audience.
- Understand, coach and incorporate the strategic content agenda and approach into industry campaigns.
- Work within a blended team of marketers (and external agencies) to deliver world-class client experiences, digital channels, social media, events and promotional initiatives to drive traffic and engagement with campaign content.
- Own research agenda and process in close collaboration with Research.
- Lead reviews and steer editorial / content reviewing process incl. content repository creation and management.
- Identify and shape relevant industry client case studies together with converging business stakeholders, Marketing and Communication partners and brand team.
- Work as sub-industry marketing point of contacts to ensure deep industry expertise is contributing to campaigns and those accounts and deals are being supported.
A suitable candidate should have:
- At least seven years’ experience in marketing and/or communications roles.
- Experience and/or expertise with impactful content marketing.
- Experience and/or expertise in services marketing would be beneficial.
- Interest and passion for the company and the public service industry.
- Resilience and flexibility to work as part of a blended, global team and with diverse mix of internal and external stakeholders/partners.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
- Proven success in a fast-paced, global organization, ability to work effectively and collaboratively in blended teams, go-getter mentality with drive to outcomes, passionate about innovation and not afraid to try something new.
The role reports to the Public Service Marketing + Communications Lead and it should be based in UKI or one of the larger European market locations

Once return-to-office is allowed, one day per week would be a good idea to collaborate with colleagues.
