Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to support the deployment of manufacturing functional test modules, Storage, and Networking hardware. The engineer will also support the Manufacturing Quality Engineering team in Quality Systems/Data Analytics. As part of the Operations Engineering team, the Manufacturing Test Engineer will work with our Test Automation Engineers and Manufacturing Quality Engineers

This is a contractor position and reports to the Sustaining Manufacturing Quality Manager as part of the Sourcing and Operations Engineering team and will be based in our Dublin, Ireland office.



Engage with the Test Engineering, Test Framework, and Manufacturing Quality teams to execute the Manufacturing Test as defined by product owners in a mass production environment.

Complete data analytics and visualization tasks relating to FB’s manufacturing quality and test output.

Support regional MQE’s on handling tasks pertaining to our manufacturing partners output quality, including First Article Inspections.

Execute deployment plans against the change management process to support the scaling of the test framework.

Work with the global MQE team to characterize root cause and corrective action for failures during product testing.



BS, Electrical or Computer Science, or a related technical qualification

5+ years' experience in deploying and supporting manufacturing test software in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of server and storage hardware architecture and technologies including test & debug methodologies.

Experience in technical writing of manufacturing test and related processes.

Understanding of manufacturing support systems including shopfloor, debug/repair processes, & data collection.

Experience in maintaining software through source control mechanisms.

Experience in interpreting detailed test results for server products.

Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.

Experience in data analytics relevant to a high-volume manufacturing environment using products such as Tableau.

Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, and Python

Experience operating in Linux/Unix environments.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic global environment.
