Job Description:

Our client's global Marketing Communications group oversees all advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.

As a Front End Developer, you will craft rich, interactive user experiences for the ecommerce site. This includes building quality user experiences, architectural planning for front-end technology, and collaborating on data formats and APIs with partner teams internally.

In this role, you will not only be responsible for development and participation in the strategy for front-end technologies—including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript—but for evangelizing that technology across the team and client company as a whole.


Participate in development efforts on large-scale web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented. Awareness of client's mobile platform with the ability to build solutions that take advantage of the latest iOS features while remaining performant on the latest iOS devices. Maintain existing JavaScript libraries and ensure they support the engineering and creative needs of the ecommerce site. Work collaboratively with team members on software development standard methodologies and new technologies.


  • ●  You have at least 1-3 years of professional software development in a collaborative setting using source version control.

  • ●  You understand the fundamental visual and interactive design discipline.

  • ●  You strive to use web standards to build accessible solutions using semantic markup and CSS.

  • ●  You are a competent JavaScript programmer aware of basic principles like encapsulation, composition, variable scope and hoisting. You must be able to demonstrate idiomatic knowledge of JavaScript during a live coding interview.

  • ●  You are aware of the interplay between JavaScript and HTML and CSS, and you can dynamically create, modify, and style elements on a page with ease.


    A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
