FANTASTIC LEAD DESIGNER OPPORTUNITY -- Help to build a growing US Creative Hub for a dynamic retailer

The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a combination of building & mentoring strong design teams as well as executing designs in a hands-on and very collaborative way.

Currently remote and will be onsite in Charlotte 2-3 days/week starting 11/1 -- SOME RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED

 Proven experience as a Senior Designer or Graphic Designer
 Degree in design or related field
 4+ years commercially relevant design experience 
 Ability to work on multiple projects at once whilst managing communication between your
team and key internal stakeholders
 Strong knowledge of corporate branding and NeedScope
 Budget & resource management experience
 Previous experience of using workflow process tools such as BrandMaker a considerable

 Design, execution and delivery of Print and POS marketing material across all US business units
 Lead, mentor and manage design team for US Creative Hub
 Lead daily operational meetings with design team and participating in stakeholder meetings
 Engage with business units, working closely together to ensure design briefs are delivered to the highest standard and within tight timeframes
 Reviewing artwork to ensure high quality output quality is nothing short of the best and low error rates are maintained
 Ensure quality controls and sign-off procedures with all stakeholders
 Keep a tight ship with internal processes and file structures.
 Monitoring key metrics and KPIs to ensure project success

Key Skills/Competencies:
 Adobe Create Suite, Microsoft Office 
 Experience and knowledge of brand guidelines
 Developed portfolio of relevant work to demonstrate
 Excellent communication skills and a skilled negotiator 
 Excellent project/time-management, ability to multi-task 
 Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines 
 Awareness of budget implications when creating designs 
 Ability to identify opportunities to further the scope and success of the Creative Hub
