The UX Digital Designer is responsible for UX development, design and production of creative
deliverables for all kiehls.com brand digital initiatives. We are looking for a user experience designer
that loves learning and is passionate about conceiving experiences and driving vision into solid design
deliverables such as complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models and
prototypes. Consulting with the VP of Digital Design, and Digital Director, you will build and contribute
to master templates and perform production work of all global digital brand assets, translating brand
strategies, marketing programs and offline assets into online programs/assets. Online programs are
inclusive of brand eCommerce websites, digital marketing. You will work closely with in-house Digital
Design team and Digital Marketing team to ensure all asset deliverables meet domestic and global
requirements accurately on timely fashion for every digital campaign.
Create and maintain our complex global design system of all UX sketch files + component
Create master templates and provide production support for a wide range of digital projects
including but not limited to Digital Marketing (homepage, landing pages, and emails)
Design and manage artwork updates across kiehls.com and global sites, including product hero
shot, category and promo images.
Work closely with Design Director on digital asset production from start to completion,
incorporating concept, timelines scope, designs and finished products in appropriate format.
Proven history developing breakthrough creative for online communications and emerging
Hands-on knowledge of digital production project plans and timelines, and ability to manage
creative product process
Collaborate and stay aligned with offline creative on integrated campaigns.
Strong coordination with internal Brand Creative and Digital Marketing teams is a must!
Must be proficient with SKETCH application for UX wireframe and design
Design experience with digital products for global markets and enterprise products
Self-starter with 5-8 years work experience in digital design with eCommerce design experience
a must (mobile + desktop). Strong solid portfolio.
Must have prior experience launching and designing eCommerce site from inception to launch
Prior in-house design experience with prestige beauty background (on brand or agency)
Understanding of user experience methodologies and practices.
Keen eye for clean design and executes tactical direction efficiently. A balance of good design
sense and technology to conceptualize a visually engaging experience, making our online
campaigns and projects come alive.
Proficient in Adobe CS Suite (expert proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, InDesign) and
Ability to prioritize and work quickly + efficiently against tight deadlines
Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach to daily challenges with strong cross-
department communication skills
