Fibre Delivery Manager


Aquent is recruiting for a Fibre Delivery Manager with experience in network deployment fibre

infrastructure projects to join a global network built of cutting-edge platforms on a contract basis. The Fibre Delivery Manager will earn a salary of up to £125,000 plus bonus and benefits whilst meeting key milestones for critical backbone infrastructure. This is a 12-month contract based in London.


Some of your day-to-day responsibilities as a flexible Fibre Delivery Manager will include:

● Building and managing partner relationships to ensure transparency with project mng and information flow.

● Directing metric-driven quarterly business vendor reviews

● Managing fibre acceptance for performance characteristics

● Reporting metrics for on-time performance, vendor performance, financial monthly and yearly

activated services


To succeed in this Fibre Delivery Manager role, you will need a good understanding of the life cycle of fibre deployment. You will also need 5+ years of experience in network deployment fibre infrastructure projects, certification or a proven track record in project management techniques and tools (e.g. PMP), and experience in terrestrial fibre network design and technology, preferably in long haul networks. Vendor management experience is also a valuable asset.
