Job Description:

Are you a creative Product Designer with experience designing and optimising e-commerce buyer journeys looking for the next step in your career? Aquent is hiring for a Senior Product Designer to join a talented and inclusive Buyer team on a 6-month contract in London.

You will be responsible for collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to design and optimise experiments on current and new features to improve the performance of the product detail page, storefront, design systems and other parts of the ecommerce product. You will be creating designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts and the role offers a salary of £84,364 to £93,724.

To give you an idea of this product design role, here are some of the primary duties you will take on in your first weeks:

●      Planning, analysing and creating visual solutions to communication problems

●      Developing overall graphic design layouts and production designs of publications or web interfaces

●      Preparing sketches or layouts to present to clients

●      Creating charts and graphs from data given

The successful Product Designer applicant will be a strong interaction designer, visual designer and product thinker. You will need a degree in design and/or certificate in design as well as experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software. You must possess the basic ability to utilise various forms of media, including print, electronic and film and the ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design. Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images is also vital to success.
