If you're a talented UI Designer based in Tunbridge Wells and you're looking for a new challenge, Aquent would love to hear from you. We're helping a fashion retailer find a UI Designer, and the job comes with a salary of up to £35k p/a.

 

In this UI Designer role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining UI design. You will work closely with CX, UX and Development Teams, ensuring you deliver brand consistency across the company's digital sites and apps.

 

If you were already in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

·   Collaborating closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers

·   Bringing wireframes to life with prototypes and final designs

·   Presenting and defending your design decisions

·   Continually keeping yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry's standards.

 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating prototypes, animations, material design and responsive UI. You will also require the following:

·   The ability to make design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction

·   The skill to design user interfaces that are effective, on brand and consistent

·   An understanding of code and backend systems to design layouts that are responsive and maximised for mobile and tablet platforms

·   Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision and basic front-end languages (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript).

 

In return for your passion and expertise, you will receive an excellent benefits package, including a salary of £30,000 to £35,000.
