Are you a Midweight Designer, currently free and are seeking a contract in London? Aquent is helping a full-service, in-house agency in the financial sector find a Middle Weight Designer, for a month contract in London.

We are looking for a conceptual designer who is able to take a creative brief and create compelling solutions – using design to communicate an idea and tell a story. You’ll be responsible for designing visual concepts to a high standard – which you’ll also follow through to final artwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To maintain the high standards of creative output within the applicable corporate identity.
  • Ensuring that all completed work is thorough, accurate, time bound and within corporate constraints, both technically and creatively.
  • Day-to-day creative decision-making is part of the role (significant design changes or issues should be escalated to the Creative Director or Studio Head)
  • The timely communication of specification and scheduling changes back to the Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer, who has a proven portfolio of high- quality work. A suitable candidate does not need to have worked in-house and does not even need to have an overly corporate portfolio. What is important is that they are a bright contributor who is keen to help to continue to shape this highly regarded team.

Skills: (Essential)

  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Inc. InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat & Photoshop
  • Adobe CS Dreamweaver / HTML would be ideal
