Job Description:

Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead community outreach and steer
committee activity for a project which looks at the impact of music of Black origin on British
culture. This is a full-time role based in London, and it comes with a pay rate of £25.87/ph.

The Project Manager will manage content across Youtube and Google Arts & Culture and across
all launch events (either standalone or at notable partner-led tentpole moments). You will help to
create a coherent vision, with a focus on deep community impact. This is a 12-month role,
working flexibly with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home each week.

To give you an idea of the day-to-day role you will play as Project Manager, here are some of the
primary duties you will be tasked with:
 Owning the vision for the launch event and aligning relevant stakeholders
 Finding and scoping additional public engagement for the project at music industry and
other cultural events–securing internal approvals/support and relevant speakers
 Taking charge of the invite list, targeting relevant influencers, KOFs, community
members, and music industry bodies
 End-to-end ownership of contracting, invoicing, and payments for the events

At least 5 years of Project Management experience will be required to apply, as well as a BA/BS
degree or equivalent practical experience. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of
and related experience in the music industry in the UK, along with broader global trends. Solid
external and community relationships will be vital to success. Additional qualifications include:
 Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills
 Impeccable business judgment
 Demonstrable program management skills and solid experience executing complex
strategic and operational initiatives
 Advanced communication and presentation skills, both internal and external
