Aquent is looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Android Developer to join our client's growing and inclusive team. This full-time Android Developer role is for a 3-month contract, is remote in the UK with travel to the company's Nottingham office once per month and offers a favourable rate of £406.25 per day PAYE or £520-£541 per day Umbrella.
As a flexible Senior Android Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional delivery team that includes product owners, developers, designers and quality assurance specialists. You will help build exciting journeys and features for customers and assist with keeping the company a great place to work.

To apply for this Android Developer job, you will need a demonstrated ability to produce real working mobile app products and be passionate about software engineering with a good grasp of the technologies that you’ve used. A degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering is a plus but not essential. You will also require a good understanding of the Android platform and its app lifecycle. In addition, you should have experience with mobile app development in Kotlin, including a good understanding of debugging and testing on this platform. Expertise in integrating REST APIs and working with tools like Postman is also essential.
