The Role

Our Broadcast Media client are seeking a Live Broadcast Motion Designer to join their team on a freelance basis across an initial 9-month booking.

You'll be an expert user of Adobe Creative Suite & After Effects, in particular with experience delivering graphics in a fast-paced environment, for live day to day graphics such as maps, infographics and more.

Important: This role requires someone who is happy to work irregular shifts to cover live breaking news output, either starting early (7am) or finishing late (10pm), Monday to Sunday.

Weeks will vary where sometimes you'll have a 40 hour week, and other times it could be for ad-hoc days throughout the week.

Shifts times will vary and can range from around 7.5 hours - 11 hours depending on the shift.

It’s also important to add that there are weekend shifts as well but it will be down to the Freelancer to accept or reject these.

You'll be required to work in a hybrid pattern, whereby some of the shifts are home-based whilst others must be on-site in the Osterley studios. Onsite days can vary and can be up to 3 days per week depending on the shifts.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge & experience with VizRT
  • Working knowledge of Cinema4D
  • Previous experience working with News Broadcasters
