Role Title: Industry Manager – Sales Strategy and Customer Relations

Office Location: London 

Duration: ASAP until 28th March 2025

Working Schedule: Hybrid model (Tuesday – Thursday from the office)

 

Role Overview:

The Industry Manager will be responsible for owning and nurturing customer relationships, driving sales strategy development, and executing joint business plans to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a blend of consultative skills, data-driven analysis, and persuasive communication to influence stakeholders and lead high-impact initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Relationship Ownership:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for one or more customer relationships.
    • Develop joint business plans, sales strategies, and opportunity sizing to drive revenue growth.
    • Independently drive activation plans and strategic pitches.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer strategies and prioritize account planning.
    • Identify and recommend new processes and methods for sales strategy development and opportunity sizing.
    • Utilize industry knowledge and data to anticipate and address future customer needs.
  3. Influence and Leadership:
    • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address customer needs and close deals.
    • Lead key cluster/region initiatives, defining scope and objectives to drive impact outside of the core.
    • Act as a thought leader, leveraging rich relationships internally and externally to support team members and drive customer growth.
  4. Expertise and Development:
    • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of supported industries and products to drive revenue opportunities.
    • Continuously build knowledge of the advertising environment and competitive landscape.
    • Act as a point of contact for business-critical areas, contributing to advanced training and stretch projects.

 

You will have/be able to: 

  • Understand stakeholder needs through dialogue before conducting analysis and making recommendations.
  • Utilize open, closed, and leading questioning techniques to understand underlying beliefs, motivations, and causes for behaviours, needs, and desires.
  • Combine technical and financial data to differentiate and position the value of products, services, and solutions to create competitive advantage.
  • Analyse and apply industry, market, and organizational information to strategies and plans.
  • Discover opportunities to deliver expanded customer value by effectively managing the pipeline throughout the entire sales/customer lifecycle.
  • Use knowledge of the customers buying cycle and competitors’ offerings to position and drive the business to the next level.
  • Establish or adapt sales/partnership strategies by integrating and applying one’s understanding of the customer, competitive intelligence, external trends, and data from lagging/leading metrics.
  • Positively influence individuals in a customer’s organization who can help others make a conscious decision on the proposed product, service, or solution.
