Aquent is working with our entertainment client to a Retail Production Producer to join them on a freelance basis. This role provides crucial Design, Print and Digital production expertise within the Studio Retail Production Team; overseeing and delivering Retail Campaigns covering the UK and ROI territories, as well as being a day-to-day contact for the Retail Marketing Team. Retail Production Producers are dedicated to certain business areas but work with multiple Marketing Teams as well as several internal Teams. This encourages a breadth of learning opportunities and an understanding of how the brand works.

This is a hybrid position that combines creative and administrative responsibilities. As a Retail Production Producer, you will work closely with our Marketing and Creative Teams to brief and guide them on projects, while also being responsible for the logistical and administrative aspects of Project Management. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, attention to detail, and organisational skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

There is a 6-month initial booking scheduled to start ASAP. You will also be onboarded onto our client’s talent pool for 12 months. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you will be required to work from their West London campus 3 days a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays can be worked remotely from home. The role offers a rate of up to £369.56 per day which will have to be through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Receive & assess SH briefs
  • Lead on Retail campaigns
  • Create timings plans and (where required) budget campaigns
  • Create jobs in the internal workflow tool ensuring that placeholder Resource requests, briefing info, timings and job details are always up to date
  • Manage and book internal and external meetings throughout the production process (internal & external reviews, production updates with internal teams etc)
  • Brief creative teams and oversee the creative development process ensuring work is delivered against brief
  • End-to-end delivery of multiple projects across Print and Digital formats
  • Check creative work (QC) before delivery
  • Manage SH review process ensuring timings and budget are adhered to throughout the full lifecycle of each project
  • Ensure that the Studio team are kept across creative, and have all the key production, asset location, and delivery info required
  • Briefing the Studio team on production elements and delivery
  • Provide delivery confirmation to key SHs
  • Where necessary estimate and reconcile OAA project budgets
  • Maintain team documents including resource, project status and budget trackers
  • Managing the delivery of content to brand-owned and commercial channels through SHs, Media agencies and bespoke processes through the Studio

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a creative agency or production environment – with a heavy focus on Retail deliverables, such as Design, Print and Digital Display based formats
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organised and able to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a flexible and pro-active approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; is calm under pressure
  • Proven leadership skills
