Help our client deliver outstanding, best-in class events, conferences and tradeshows that excite and delight our creative customers across Europe. We’re looking for a creative thinking, hard-working candidate with a passion for technology and experience in exhibition or conference marketing.
As a key member of the international Events team, you should be an innovative and effective individual, with vision and single-mindedness, and be willing to work hard to deliver exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will balance attention to detail with delivering on the big picture, effectively collaborate and steer project teams, manage agencies and multiple projects. You’ll contribute to the execution of International event strategies and tactical plans, driving attendance and supporting the growth of our brand internationally. A demonstrated track record in event operations, with experience managing projects from start to finish, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Event Conceptualisation & Development: Crafting and producing innovative event concepts that align with business goals.
• Project Management: Ensure the timely, high-quality, and within-budget delivery of events.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders across the company to translate needs into unique event experiences.
• Audience Engagement: Support the development of strategies to achieve attendance and revenue goals.
• External Collaboration: Partner with external professionals (artists, copywriters, influencers) to develop culturally relevant and unique event content.
• Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the International marketing teams and external agencies to implement event plans.
• Event Execution: Driving the event development process from concept to execution, ensuring effective communication and collaborator satisfaction.
• Customer & Partner Focus: Strive to delight both customers and internal partners, driving and measuring the impact of events.
• Support & Strategy: Help define and prioritize team objectives, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategies.
Skills:
• Critical Thinking: Strong business sense with a deep understanding of attendee engagement and event trends.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively, turning big ideas into successful projects.
• Project Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficiency & Organisation: Skilled at working quickly and efficiently while maintaining high levels of organization.
• Meticulous: Skilled at supervising crucial metrics and ensuring comprehensive oversight of all relevant factors.
• Communication: Proficient in presenting ideas and communicating effectively at all levels.
• Event Passion: Enthusiasm for both physical and digital events, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Express and Adobe Workfront
• Experience: 4-6 years in event operations, marketing, or a related field
• Language: Fluent in English; fluency in German or French is a plus
