Our client’s Social Media Team is seeking a Junior Producer to focus on creating social media assets such as content trailers, promos, and other innovative campaign materials. In this role, you’ll tell forward-thinking stories that deliver on the strategic objectives, while pushing the boundaries of creative storytelling. This is a 6-month freelance booking requiring an ASAP start. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you will be required to work from their West London campus 3 days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role offers an Umbrella rate of £269 – £278 per day which will have to be through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with producers, social managers and executives to create compelling social media content (video and static)
  • Edit original and existing material into promos, trailers, and short-form social media content
  • Update existing social media video assets
  • Clip and organise TV and film content for a variety of promotional purposes on social platforms
  • Media management, asset organisation, and file delivery
  • Own all editorial aspects of social media video projects, in close collaboration with the lead producer, social managers, and executives
  • Help the wider team by supporting, attending and overseeing shoots and production events

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional editing experience in entertainment marketing, promos, and short-form social media content
  • Expertise in Premiere Pro CC
  • Experience with short-form promo and trailer storytelling
  • Skilled music editor and sound designer with an understanding of the emotional power and structure of music
  • Technically proficient in all video codecs and formats, with the ability to transcode between them
  • Proficient in Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Passionate storyteller and media creator
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with internal and external partners
  • Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment

What You’ll Bring:

  • Must have a strong interest in the influencer marketing landscape and be able to identify social trends/techniques and relevant talent that deliver engagement and advocacy
  • Must have experience in an influencer marketing role or similar and a willingness to learn from and support the wider influencer marketing team
  • Knowledge of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok and Facebook (Snap and Twitch are a bonus)
  • An interest in entertainment space e.g. TV shows, TV products
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise responsibilities and tasks proactively
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent and proactive communication skills
