Multi-channel/Emerging Channel Creative Director

We're looking for an outstanding Creative Director to oversee a talented team, and to help drive multi-channel and emerging channel creative strategies. Intimate knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to quickly identify, address and incorporate emerging trends into strategic development are essential, as well as an ability to proactively overcome adversity and obstacles. Ideal candidate would be an effective team leader with an ability to comfortably present comprehensive concepts to Senior Leaders and decision makers.

Financial industry experience preferred. Previous experience as a Creative Director with a Fortune 500 or highly recognized ad agency is preferred.

Business Responsibilities:
•Contributes to preliminary strategy formation for each new project.
•Reviews and approves new creative proposals (Briefs).
•Leads team to identify and solve marketing problems from a creative standpoint.
•Organizes and leads creative reviews within department.
•Recommends and decides upon use of outside creative vendors.
•Recommends creative testing where appropriate.
•Manages one or several creative teams including: Art Directors, Copywriters, and Graphic Designers.

•Instinctively identifies irresistible creative and the needs of the consumer.
•Self-organized and can manage multiple, concurrent projects.
•Strong integrated thinking skills.
•Organized, composed and can present well to senior executive audiences.
•Able to partner and collaborate with Brand Strategists and Internal Business Clients effectively.
•Positive outlook and attitude—someone who naturally builds up the people around you.
•Enjoys helping mentor and lead talented teams.
•Happy learning and effectively navigating complex client organizations and processes.
•Able to overcome adversity and obstacles.
•Consistently delivers quality work on time.
•Effective creative problem solver.

Work Experience and Qualifications:
•Experience with corporate website marketing, B2C and integrated marketing
•Bachelors Degree—preferably in Advertising, Design, English, Communications, or similar discipline
•7+ years experience as a Creative Director. 10 Years preferred.
•5+ years direct response experience preferred.
•5+ years Financial industry experience preferred.
