Graphic Designer

One of our top clients in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Graphic Designer with the ability to work onsite in a corporate environment. They are looking for a long term fit and if you’ve got gallons of talent and the right aesthetic this job could be yours.

*This position will begin as a 3month contract before converting to permanent status. It is $18/hr, full-time, onsite, and requires the ability to handle some overtime (which will be paid at time and a half).
*All candidates MUST be able to work in a professional, corporate environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Minimum of two years of work experience in the graphics design field
- Must be proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) as well as Quark XPress, Dreamweaver, Acrobat and Microsoft Office; some knowledge of Flash helpful.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full-Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

1. Prepare preliminary designs through final products, including but not limited to investor relations and marketing materials, advertisements, label and package designs, newsletters, company logos, stationery and PowerPoint presentations.
2. Photographing and retouching product as needed
3. Maintain database of company graphic files, materials, supplies and equipment
4. Work with Account Director to determine the scope of the project
5. Creation of images that identify a product or convey a message
6. Coordination/Presentation of finished product
7. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
8. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common information, reports and other documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints. Ability to effectively present information to management.
