Senior Brand and Communications Manager

The Manager of Branding and Marketing Communications role for one of our larger Fortune 500 companies is a critical part of the North America marketing team, responsible for conceptualizing and overseeing the deployment of campaigns, marketing communications and advertising supporting a wide range of stakeholders and business heads. This role reports into the Head of Marketing for North America and is responsible for upholding TCS brand standards in a variety of external and internal communications, including high-level events and sponsorships.
Campaign Management, Marketing Communications & Advertising
• Advise, guide and support the region’s team of marketing managers and business stakeholders to develop and deliver effective campaigns that meet business goals. Engage proper agency mix, and implement best practice B2B marketing tactics through email, web, print, PR, events, etc.
• Plan, manage, execute and monitor the marketing communications and advertising for the geography and ensure compliance towards correct and uniform messaging and positioning for TCS branding and tone of voice guidelines.
• Manage interfaces and relationships with various creative agencies and develop activation and communication plans to support regional campaigns, events and sponsorships, including TCS’ sponsorship of the Boston, Chicago and New York marathons.

Corporate identity

• Function as "brand custodian" and manage adherence to brand standards across various applications ensuring all messaging, tone of voice, and guidelines are consistent.
• Review and refresh brand guidelines and templates to ensure relevance and meet evolving needs.
• Liaise with the corporate marketing team to ensure the region’s needs are addressed and clear guidelines and processes are communicated and rolled out to the NA team.

Collateral management

• Lead development of all collateral for the geography—utilizing appropriate mix of agencies, writers and corporate support.
• Manage the application of the brand and appropriate messaging across all NA tradeshows as well as TCS hosted events.
• Manage, execute and monitor any direct marketing campaigns in the geography and lead creative and asset development of lead generation activities (i.e. development of branded materials).

Operational & Managerial

• Create, review and manage budgets for regional initiatives; ensure branding team manages to all budgets without overages and provides solid recommendations on all projects to meet needs, budgets, time lines.
• Support region’s web updates, Knowmax updates, newsletters promoting marketing tools to sales, all other TCS newsletters.
• Work with marketing operations to support campaign reporting, trend analysis, and progress reports needed on key initiatives.
• Identify and assign appropriate roles for team members.
• Set reasonable, challenging and clear performance goals for direct reports, monitors performance and provide timely feedback. Support and guide team to achieve professional goals.
• Track competency gaps among team and ensure key learning objectives are set.

• 10+ years experience in technology or professional services marketing & communications, with prior experience at the national/director/manager level, preferably in a consulting or technology services and outsourcing organization
• Proven success developing and executing integrated business-to-business marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results measurement
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, business or related field. MBA preferred.
• Experience managing complex, long-term campaigns and projects with agency partners to meet objectives and budgets. Strong writing skills required.
• Strong relationship acumen: ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent communicator – well-spoken with excellent writing skills
• Experience with Marketing Automation tools (Eloqua, Marketo) and CRM tools (, Siebel CRM) a strong plus
• Experience managing integrated campaigns through a marketing automation system and CRM system.
• Very organized, strong project management skills.
Savvy in B2B marketing best practices, social media, and integrated campaigns.
