Web Content Maintenance Specialist 

Do you have an interest in digital content management?  High attention to detail with experience working with web content and maintenance? Want an opportunity to advance.  This project should be a great fit for you. THIS IS NOT A content writing position.

We are building a project team to assist an International Hotel client in the migration and maintenance of digital content. Consultants will work full-time hours on-site in our Boise office through 12/2019 with good chance of long term extension.

Our team of consultants will review the content structure and mapping, complete content entry and tagging for adaptive content types, initiate template and web page set up, and complete page construction. In a nutshell, this is a complex web migration and maintenance project, requiring extreme attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Self-manage an assigned list of pages against a deadline
  • Quality-control your own and peer migrated content including content, links, and imagery
  • Attend daily stand-up to report on progress and roadblocks (as identified)
  • You will be trained to accurately transfer content to a new publishing environment
  • Work with team on necessary content edits
  • Raise and document issues or questions about content to the Project Lead
  • Use various tools, including: Jira, CMS applications, Ticketing Systems, Microsoft Office, Google Suite

Skills and experience required:

  • The ability to decipher web content and apply a set of guidelines to judge what content to include for migration
  • Understanding of basic web layout principals
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient with computers, login processes, peripherals and taking initiative for them to work together
  • Comfortable researching and working with peers to find solutions for unforeseen obstacles
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and Google Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software tools and applications
  • Comfortable with self-managed, independent work requiring limited oversight
  • Collaborative, team-oriented personality with a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to own work from concept to completion and take accountability for results
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
  • Strong ability to analyze user requirements
  • Thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks
  • The ability to decipher web content and apply a set of guidelines to judge what content to include for migration
  • HTML or similar experience (editing and/or some basic hand coding)
