You will be the linchpin connecting diverse content creators with global audiences, managing complex localization projects that directly contribute to the company’s worldwide reach and success.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor, you will provide essential localization production support to various business partners within our client’s organization. You’ll navigate a diverse landscape of content, mastering established localization processes and utilizing a range of cutting-edge tools and technologies, both internal to the client and third-party. Your ultimate goal is to deliver consistent, top-quality project management support for every localization project, exceeding expectations and ensuring seamless global content delivery.

  • Acknowledge and meticulously review files submitted for translation.
  • Communicate effectively with project submitters to address general questions about submitted files.
  • Prepare files for the Translation Management System (TMS).
  • Create and assign projects within the TMS to appropriate vendors.
  • Seamlessly hand off projects and maintain clear communication with vendor Project Managers.
  • Manage queries efficiently between vendors and project submitters.
  • Ensure timely delivery of files according to project requirements.
  • Review vendor quotes and billing summaries for accuracy.
  • Attend sync-up meetings with client stakeholders and Localization Vendors regarding production.
  • Participate in project-related meetings focused on content requiring localization.
  • Provide technical support to internal client TMS users.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven client-side localization project management experience.
  • Localization project management experience gained at a Language Service Provider (LSP).
  • Experience utilizing internal client tools for localization processes.
  • Deep understanding and experience working with a variety of file formats typical for localization, including HTML, XML, InDesign, Photoshop, iBooks, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong passion for learning new processes and tools.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally to clients or other offices as necessary.
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Deep understanding and experience using a leading Translation Management System (TMS) preferred, including internal client TMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English.
  • Proficiency in using and a passion for cutting-edge technology products.
