The Loss Prevention role supports the day-to-day execution of LP investigative, reporting, systems, communication, and administrative processes. This role maintains a broad understanding of Loss Prevention operations, provides support across key areas, and executes special projects as assigned.
Research emerging developments in security systems and technologies to identify and recommend potential hardware and software solutions or improvements to LP management. Coordinate vendor demonstrations and support the evaluation of new products and technologies.
Maintain accurate civil demand and restitution case files and partner with vendors to administer civil demand programs. Review and audit individual case files to assess restitution viability, identify gaps or discrepancies, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
Support the organization and analysis of operational and financial information, including invoicing, payments, budget tracking, and related reporting activities. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure accurate and timely execution of LP-related activities.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to organize, validate, analyze, and present operational and financial data.
- Financial acumen, with an understanding of invoicing, payment processes, budget tracking, and financial close activities.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and translate data into clear insights and actions.
- Proactive and curious learner, with the ability to quickly understand new processes, systems, and business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, recommend solutions, and follow through to resolution.
- Collaborative team player, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, process consistency, and quality of execution.
- Experience with Coupa or similar invoice management systems is preferred.
