Are you an experienced digital media/ad sales professional, looking for your next contract role in London? If so, this role may be for you!

We’re working in partnership with a global tech giant to hire an Account Executive who will be providing clients with all things digital media. This is a 12-month contract, offering up to £95,990 per annum, pro rata (PAYE). 

As an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of our client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for joint business plan development, sales strategy formulation, pitching, customer relationship enhancement, and opportunity sizing. You will fully own opportunities and strategic pitches, driving activation plans independently to meet and exceed revenue targets set for the team. Additionally, you will contribute to scoping customer strategies and managing priorities related to account planning and multi-quarter pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Challenge: Assist in developing customer strategies, leveraging data on client performance against targets to enable longer-term opportunities. Identify and recommend new processes, procedures, and methods for sales strategy development with foresight to anticipate future needs. Proactively navigate a diverse set of customers from multiple verticals, developing multiple approaches to pursue and close deals before setbacks occur. Lead key cluster/region initiatives by defining scope and OKRs to drive impact outside of the core.
  • Influence: Drive influence across teams with similar objectives to address customer needs and close deals, offering support and direction to team members. Manage primary relationships with customers, acting as a key point of contact for all key areas. Guide the integration of multiple adjacent opportunity/project goals and objectives. Support multi-region and cross-product relationships and drive customer growth.
  • Expertise: Utilize comprehensive knowledge of supported industries or verticals and ad product and technology developments. Exercise a deep understanding of translating client business models/needs into revenue opportunities. Start to become a thought leader of ads products and the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities Under the Direction of the Manager:

  • Account Planning: Develop strategies and tactics for creating account plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and adjust plans as appropriate.
  • Building Ad Knowledge: Continuously build knowledge in the advertising environment and competitive landscape through required training and resources.
  • Customer Relationship Growth: Serve as a strategic partner to customers to build, grow, and maintain high-impact and long-lasting relationships by understanding client opportunities and challenges.
  • Joint Business Plan Ownership: Create and own joint business plans for customers based on client business objectives to deepen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Navigating for Customers: Act as the first point of contact for customers/agencies around all key areas. Drive cross-functional efforts to identify, escalate, and solve customer issues.
  • Opportunity Sizing: Identify revenue and growth opportunities within the market and customer. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine and drive sales, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency.
  • Pitching: Craft and deliver solutions to customers and agencies to achieve customer business objectives and drive revenue growth for the company.
  • Sales Analytics Interpretation: Provide data-driven strategic and tactical recommendations to customers, partner teams, and leadership based on analysis. Utilize insights to influence others and drive change.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Identify customer business objectives and set sales strategies for specific markets and customers in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Sharing Best Practices and Feedback: Drive sharing and scaling of successes, opportunities for improvement, best practices, and learnings internally and externally.
