Aquent is working with our multinational tech client to recruit a Creative Business Lead to manage and oversee creative projects within the business.
This is a 12-month contract aimed to start in March 2025. Our client works on a hybrid model where you will be required to work onsite in their London office 3 days per week; Tuesday – Thursday onsite with Mondays & Fridays working from home. The role comes with a gross PAYE rate of £46.15 per hour, equivalent to £95,992 per annum, pro-rata. This includes up to 33 days of holiday per annum, pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive mid-size or large-scale projects from start to finish as a key individual contributor
- Develop strategic marketing strategy or project plans for the brand’s products
- Plan marketing campaigns and/or projects from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Provide post-campaign/project analysis, budget recaps, and internal feedback to inform the planning and strategy of future campaigns and/or projects
- Contribute to project scoping, manage project priorities, and allocate resources within the projects
- Support projects in line with product priorities, prioritise campaign/project objectives, determine strategy, and understand how campaign/project fits into the wider picture
- Act as a primary client for the management of all business media planning
- Act as a primary client point of contact for management of large-scale, complex business media planning across and partner with global Media teams to ensure strategies are scaled
Skills & Experience Required:
- Communication skills – Ability to effectively communicate across audiences, situations, and contexts in both a written and oral format to effectively communicate compensation plans, policies, and practices to internal stakeholders. This includes understanding when one’s communication style needs to change or adapt to increase effectiveness and influence.
- Consumer behaviour – Understanding of consumer behaviour and key audience needs
- Creativity – Ability to use creativity to bring a vision to life (e.g., to come up with creative ideas for project themes, unique venues, or have a motivational speaker) and give constructive creative feedback to move the vision forward internally and gain stakeholder alignment
- Data analysis and synthesis – Ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate outcomes. This includes the ability to use data to add value to marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Growth – Understanding of strategies required to win larger market share for Marketing Specialist COE discipline, including diversification, product development, market penetration, and market development, with an understanding of how to balance short-term earning and long-term growth
- Influencer marketing – Ability to identify and engage people who have a strong influence on a key target audience to grow products or brand exposure
- Media – Understanding of media strategy, as used in the advertising or content delivery (online broadcasting) industries, identify concerns with how messages will be delivered to consumers or niche markets
- Media placement – Understanding of how to place content through various channels (e.g., TV, radio, magazines, media/social media)
- Negotiation skills – Ability to lead and close deals favourable to the business that gain the acceptance of all parties. This includes understanding the needs, risks, and value of the deal for both parties, identifying key negotiating points and trade-offs, working with key internal stakeholders to resolve challenging deal issues, and knowing when to walk away from the deal when a viable agreement cannot be reached
- Project management skills – Ability to effectively prioritise work, display reasonable judgment in setting priorities, and recognise when help is needed. This includes the ability to determine long-term versus short-term priorities
- Search engine optimisation (SEO) – Ability to optimise web pages and their content to be easily discoverable by users searching for terms relevant to the website, including the improvement of unpaid results and excluding direct traffic and the purchase of paid placement
- Social media – Understanding of how to facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests, and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.
- While not required, fluency in German, French, or Arabic is a plus
