We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a social media specialist passionate about driving engagement and building communities within the accounting industry. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing organic social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and content distribution across various social channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage organic social media campaigns targeting accounting professionals.
  • Develop and execute content strategies to engage our ‘expert’ community of accountants and bookkeepers.
  • Utilise social listening tools to monitor conversations and trends within the accounting industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging content aligned with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with accountant influencers to amplify brand awareness.
  • Create and maintain a social content calendar shared with marketing and communications teams.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with media and paid social teams to optimize content distribution strategies.
  • Build internal relationships with stakeholders to showcase the impact of social media efforts.

 

Key Experience:

  • Expertise in organic social media management across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to maintain brand tone and personality.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and platforms to track and measure performance.
  • Ability to develop influencer partnerships and manage influencer campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva and basic video editing software.
  • Previous experience working in a marketing or communications team, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Proven track record of building engaged social media communities and driving brand affinity.
