Contract – 12 months

As a Senior Display Developer, you will be responsible for hand-coding Dynamic HTML5 banner templates for deployment in Flashtalking. You will also be expected to handle versioning, maintain existing banner templates, and create bespoke builds when required. You will be required to assist members of the team when needed. Working closely with the Display Lead, Designers, Producers, QA, and Resource Team, you are expected to create and maintain excellent working relationships with all team members.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role specialising in HTML5 banners
• Proficient in creating Dynamic Templates and bespoke builds
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid experience with GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform), specifically version 3 with timeline utilisation, and CreateJS, although not compulsory
• Experience in agency and/or production houses
• Skilled in debugging and optimizing performance across modern web browsers
• Familiarity with Git/Versioning control is advantageous but not mandatory
• Proficient with the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop, and Figma.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise a high volume of tasks/briefs
• A high standard of work with a focus on right first time
• Able to work independently
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organised, pro-active and self-motivated
• Support the lead and the team with the DCO and Social solutions
• Help drive innovation and efficiency, contributing to projects that enhance processes and workflows for continuous improvement

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Use Photoshop and Figma to prepare design assets ready for development
• Develop and maintain Dynamic Templates for Flashtalking using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well bespoke builds when required
• Support the team members when required
• Offer guidance and oversight on complex banner builds when required
• Participate in team meetings, including daily and weekly stand-ups, as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Display Lead, Producers, Designers, QA, and Resource Team to ensure the successful delivery of display banners.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to provide support to the lead as needed.
