Aquent is helping our multinational cloud-based software client as they recruit a Technical SEO Manager to work with their EMEA SEO team. We are looking for someone with a solid grasp of Technical SEO methods, strategies and working practices. The ideal candidate is data-driven and a good communicator who can translate data and insight into detailed recommendations. The person is self-motivated and feels comfortable prioritising multiple projects, with multiple remote teams simultaneously.

This is a 12-month contract aimed to start in March 2025. Our client works on a hybrid model where you will be required to work onsite in their London, Shoreditch, office 2-3 days per week. The role comes with a gross PAYE rate of up to £36.08 per hour, equivalent to £65,665 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. This includes up to 33 days of holiday per annum, pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays.

Their site is constantly evolving on a day-to-day basis and there is a need to stay visible to Technical SEO issues that could hinder SEO performance. We are looking for the right candidate to take full ownership of Technical SEO operations in their international markets with a solid focus in EMEA. The Technical SEO Manager will identify key opportunities and will work to prioritise and craft quarterly roadmaps with impactful recommendations that align with strategic goals.

Ways of Working:

  • Having gained a deep understanding of the SEO strategy and SEO team operating process, you will find opportunities to improve the EMEA SEO performance by implementing local optimisations, while aligning with corporate partners on the Technical SEO strategy
  • This role will also be working alongside Product Managers, unlocking new partnerships and driving value through delivering Technical SEO enhancements, improving existing processes and clearly measuring the impact of their initiatives
  • This position is part of a well-established EMEA SEO team, continually bringing in new opportunities to work with multiple teams cross-functionally to drive marketing efforts

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor SEO performance with a focus on EMEA markets and ensure alignment with the global SEO strategy and goals
  • Conduct site audits to identify website issues or that could impact SEO performance and prioritise them for resolution with support from our partner teams
  • Plan and implement the Technical SEO roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on impact and clearly measuring outcomes
  • Utilise insights from Tech SEO tools and analytics reporting and follow up with actionable recommendations and plans
  • Differentiate between local and global technical issues and partner with the global Technical SEO team to align on priorities and technical SEO improvement roll-outs
  • Document standard processes and educate wider teams to help broaden the knowledge of Technical SEO actions and how they integrate with wider SEO team initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • English spoken language (additional French or German languages are a benefit)
  • Proven Technical SEO experience
  • Proficient in using SEO tools and familiarity with various third-party SEO solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and partner management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
  • Solid understanding of SEO analytics and ability to answer data-related questions both in support of performance reporting and hypothesis definition
  • Experience in providing technical reporting and audits
