Role Overview 

The Senior Designer Contractor will play a key role in bringing our client’s Marketing campaigns to life through creative execution. Reporting to the Art Director, this position will collaborate closely with teams across Editorial, Visual Merchandising, Content Production, and Marketing to craft and deliver exceptional creative assets that ensure a seamless, best-in-class 360° client experience across retail, digital, and paid media. 

  • Trend research and concept development 
  • Concept sketches and storyboards 
  • Assisting in development of shoot briefs and post-production briefs 
  • Digital and print asset development, management and handoff 
  • Figma presentation decks 
  • Figma template development  

We’re excited about you if you have: 

  • 3-5 years of design experience 
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Communication Design (preferred) 
  • Strong proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout design 
  • Basic digital sketching skills (storyboarding) 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign 
  • Proficient in Figma 
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and  disciplines 
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas to  peers and cross-functional partners 
  • Passion for the beauty industry and staying current with social media trends 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines 

Nice to Have 

  • After Effects animation 
  • Experience with retouching and photo art direction 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.57 to $47.30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
