Seeking an experienced UX writer with strong project management experience to support a content design team working on developing the next generation of wearables. Your work will span multiple areas from contributing to advancing the current version of our wearables companion app to writing for product features that help our users to be connected and empowered in the world as they capture and share all of life’s fleeting experiences while staying present in the moment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage feature requirements, align partners and develop feature content as needed to support the client’s app and devices.
- Engage closely with the Wearables CD team, Product Design, Product Management, Product Marketing and Engineering partners.
- Deliver content on time and inline with project team milestones.
- Comfortable working on number of varying initiatives such as supporting feature teams with naming, developing UX flows for maps/navigation, notifications, accessibility standards
Experience:
- You are highly proactive and adept at managing your time and communicating needs and plans to partners, keeping content development on time and on track.
- You’re a strong systems thinker and UX practitioner and have experience building design and interaction systems.
- You have experience influencing product and design decisions, understanding the downstream impact on messaging and clarity of language.
- You can grasp new and emerging concepts quickly and develop a strategy that meets the needs of your target audience.
- You are comfortable applying localization and accessibility labels to content or are able to pick up new processes and apply them with ease, accuracy and speed.
- You have a point of view and are at ease making your best guess when there are no rules to follow, using good judgment, intuition and recommendations backed by a clear rationale.
- You switch easily between focusing on the big picture and the details.
- You can prioritize strategically to carve your path through the work, sizing different efforts and focusing your time based on need and impact.
- You can ramp up quickly in new spaces and form the partnerships needed to be successful.
- You enjoy working in undefined spaces. Ambiguity makes you want to jump in, not run away.
- Experience designing products for virtual, augmented, mixed reality and/or other emerging technologies
- You enjoy working across teams and interacting with different roles and partners.
- Creative mindset and future-forward thinking is desired.
- Team player with exceptional time management, communication, grammar and writing skills are expected.
- Demonstrated Figma experience required.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $87.40 to $97.12 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
