We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic marketing professional to join a pivotal digital marketing team. In this exciting role, you won’t just execute campaigns; you’ll be instrumental in driving new customer acquisitions, fostering deep engagement with both subscribers and non-subscribers, and significantly enhancing customer retention. Your expertise will directly translate into tangible growth, expanding the audience and influence of high-quality journalism.

You will contribute to key projects by:
* Executing integrated marketing strategies to drive both print and digital subscription acquisitions, collaborating closely with key stakeholders.
* Managing and maintaining a weekly digital marketing schedule, encompassing acquisition email campaigns, referral marketing initiatives, and social media acquisition activities.
* Monitoring and evaluating the success of acquisition marketing efforts, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Optimizing automated email programs, including win-back series, to maximize customer engagement and retention.
* Contributing to the maintenance and evolution of the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
* Maintaining online funnel reports and other critical reporting documents for senior management.
* Providing input for paid social campaigns.
* Conducting A/B testing for website banner creative and user journeys to optimize performance.
* Assisting with data quality control initiatives.
* Researching and providing feedback on digital trends, emerging opportunities, and potential concerns to the marketing team.

**Qualifications – Must-Have:**
* A profound passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing.
* A keen interest in politics and current affairs.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet software.
* A fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly and think critically.
* Demonstrated experience across a range of digital marketing channels (web-based, social, email).
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience working with an Email Service Provider (ESP) and various reporting tools.
* Excellent team-working skills combined with strong self-motivation.
* Superior communication and influencing skills.
* A degree-level education or equivalent experience.
* Natural talent for writing and communication, with a strong command of the English language.
* Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and best practices.

**Qualifications – Nice-to-Have:**
* Prior experience in a subscriptions marketing environment.
* Good working knowledge of web analytics tools.
* Experience utilizing social media scheduling and listening tools.
* Understanding of A/B testing methodologies.
* Basic graphic design software skills.
