Are you a seasoned communications leader ready to shape how a global organization connects with its people? We are seeking an exceptional individual to step into a pivotal role, driving internal and executive communications for a dynamic global business solutions group. This is your chance to craft compelling narratives, influence senior leaders, and foster a connected, engaged workforce across diverse international regions. This is a 23 months, hybrid contract, offering £379.75 per day – 37.5 hrs/week – (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. **About the Role:**
As a key member of the global communications team, you will be instrumental in building and executing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s overarching business goals. You will collaborate closely with People and Culture, Brand Experience, and leadership teams across the global business to deliver impactful employee experiences and communications. This role is about more than just delivering messages; it’s about fostering deep connections, empowering teams, and ensuring every employee understands their vital contribution to the company’s mission. You will provide strategic communications counsel to executive leaders, driving change communications and weaving customer-centered storytelling into every initiative.
**Your Impact Will Include:**
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive global communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and objectives.
* Leading a cross-functional communications effort aligned to delivering outcomes for the regions you support.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to understand communication needs and objectives, and providing coaching and support on effective communication techniques and best practices.
* Managing the editorial calendar and coordinating content distribution across multiple channels.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, partners, and external audiences.
* Facilitating two-way communication to gather feedback and address concerns.
* Leading and managing communications projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinating with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to execute communication campaigns effectively.
* Monitoring and analyzing the performance of communication initiatives using data-driven insights.
* Preparing regular reports on communication metrics and making data-informed recommendations for improvement.
* Ensuring consistency of messages across all audiences and channels.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 10+ years of proven experience in corporate and executive communications.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
* Ability to think strategically and develop creative content ideas.
* Proficiency in digital communication platforms and tools.
* Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with senior leaders and across matrixed organizations.
* A proven track record of creating and executing multi-channel communications programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving measurable results.
* Experience delivering end-to-end programs in support of employee alignment and engagement.
* Highly motivated, organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with a nimble self-starter approach to problem-solving.
* Deep business acumen, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
