As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in defining sophisticated media strategies and executing them with precision to reach and engage diverse audiences. You will lead the charge in communicating the brand’s narrative through strategic, data-driven, and innovative paid media approaches. This role offers the unique opportunity to leverage your deep media expertise to identify new growth opportunities, build powerful cross-functional alignments, and implement impactful solutions that contribute directly to the company’s success.
This is a 12-months, hybrid contract, offering up to £59.74 per hour – 40 hrs/week – (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement measurable media strategies and plans, ensuring they are grounded in clear objectives, audience insights, and deliver demonstrable business outcomes.
- Leverage both quantitative and qualitative insights to define and influence audience targeting, shape media strategy, and inform tactical planning, execution, and optimization.
- Cultivate and champion the team’s strategic perspective on media, measurement, and industry innovation, leading the development of strategic points of view on relevant topics with clear business application and impact.
- Forge strong working relationships and drive influence with cross-functional partners across marketing, decision science, insights, and creative teams to develop fully integrated work and design custom media activations that deliver brand and product narratives in unexpected ways.
- Lead and oversee multiple, simultaneous media workstreams, ensuring flawless campaign planning and execution, including substantial budget management for complex, multi-market international campaigns.
- Manage relationships with regional external media agencies and collaborate with central foundational media teams to drive cohesive media planning and execution globally.
- Strategically utilize data and insights to inform audience and media strategies, drive ongoing optimization, and oversee the smooth running of execution, proactively troubleshooting potential roadblocks.
- Analyze campaign media performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to derive strategic, actionable insights and provide critical takeaways and optimization recommendations for maximal business impact.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in media strategy and planning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pace and rigor in a fast-moving environment, with a strong data-centric approach to media strategy.
- Significant exposure to public affairs campaigns and initiatives.
- Proven experience in managing a large volume of campaigns.
- Ability to build strong partnerships, translate goals into successful, integrated, data-driven programs, and navigate complex multi-channel media landscapes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-driven environment and adept at managing multiple projects in parallel.
