Our client, a leading organization in the media and creative industry, is partnering with Aquent to find exceptional talent. This company is at the forefront of delivering engaging content and innovative solutions, driving significant impact across its operations. They are committed to maintaining excellence and efficiency in their business processes, leveraging data to inform critical decisions and optimize performance.

This is a 6 months, hybrid contract, offering £382.50 per day (via Umbrella). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates by COB on Thursday 26th March. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.

**What You Will Be Doing**

* Lead the delivery of monthly performance reporting packs, encompassing building, validation, commentary coordination, and clear narrative presentation.
* Provide crucial support for forecasting cycles by tracking assumptions, managing changes, and ensuring alignment of outputs with financial teams.
* Maintain and enhance management information (MI) for various stakeholders, ensuring its relevance and accuracy.
* Oversee the maintenance of dashboards and datasets, swiftly addressing breaks, improving data quality, and minimizing rework.
* Keep all documentation and runbooks current, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive handover at the conclusion of the contract.
* Offer day-to-day guidance and coaching to Junior Business Analysts, providing tasking support without formal line management responsibilities.

**Skills and Experience**

**Must-Have Skills**

* Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in pack building, controls, and validation. Experience with Power Query is a valuable asset.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering monthly MI packs and stakeholder-ready reporting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to manage reporting cadences, solicit inputs, meet deadlines, and escalate issues proactively.
* A strong Quality Assurance (QA) mindset, adept at identifying issues, driving root-cause fixes, and implementing process improvements.
* Comfortable being hands-on, actively building reports and performing QA rather than delegating these core tasks.
* Proven ability to work with imperfect data while consistently delivering accurate and trusted outputs.
* Experience with monthly performance cycles and forecasting rhythms.

**Nice-to-Haves**

* Familiarity with automation and collaboration tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, or other light Power Platform tools.
* Solid SQL skills, comfortable with querying and validating data using SQL querying tools.
* Strong experience in building, maintaining, and improving data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau (not just consuming reports).
* Familiarity with enterprise data systems and reporting tools.
* Experience within media, creative, or agency-like environments.
