As a Marketing Manager, you will shape and drive the product marketing strategy, providing both internal and external stakeholders with clear insights into marketing opportunities and the broader market context. You will guide decisions and establish principles for the launch and growth of our products, features, and services. Your role will involve educating marketers, supporting our content strategy, managing medium- to large-scale campaigns, and communicating effectively through scalable marketing initiatives. You will design and execute innovative campaigns to drive product education, engagement, and adoption across multiple channels. By combining detailed insights with a strategic perspective, you will help solve problems and deliver optimal solutions. You will proactively develop expertise in the industry and product landscape, staying abreast of the latest trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on products or features, providing guidance to cross-functional partners, contributing to product and feature development, conducting market analysis, and delivering insights on industry trends.
- Lead meetings to develop marketing plans for regional or functional teams, reviewing portfolios, prioritising goals, and defining positioning strategies to effectively engage target audiences.
- Develop frameworks and implement strategies for product marketing content across channels, defining, collecting, and tracking relevant quantitative and qualitative product or business metrics.
- Validate market size and opportunity (e.g., active users, revenue, sales, growth, profit) and identify market opportunities using subject matter expertise. Collaborate with teams to build supporting rationales, hypotheses, and strategic visions.
- Understand products and target audiences, develop positioning, execute go-to-market plans, and craft messaging for new products and features.
- Gather user insights to guide cross-functional teams, integrating the user voice into product development and marketing strategies. Provide feedback to improve user experience, advocate for in-product enhancements, and promote engagement.
- Define product brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging strategies, tailoring communications to align with product goals and user insights.
- Independently create marketing content aligned with product strategy, iterating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency with content standards and formats, and collaborating with production teams to finalise deliverables.
- Identify research needs and manage user research initiatives, leveraging internal and external resources.
- Plan and manage medium- to large-scale campaigns, communications, and programmes to meet user needs and team objectives (OKRs), optimising campaigns through analysis, and coordinating integrated channels to achieve targets.
